| Thermic Explosion |
A furnace pre-heating up till 1050°C. Then moving
the SAFE into the furnace. This will create a “thermic
explosion” resulting from the difference of temperatures
between the SAFE (normal temperature) and the furnace. |
| Drop Test |
After 45 minutes, the SAFE is removed from the furnace
and dropped from a 9.15 meter height (as building collapse)
The SAFE is placed again within the 1050°C furnace
for another 45 minutes. |
15 hour furnace After the above, the furnace heating
will be stopped
for cooing |
After the above, the furnace heating will be stopped
and the SAFE Firefile is kept in it till the inside furnace
temperature goes back from 1050°C to normal temperature,
and this is taking about 14 to 15 hours.
